What to Expect

During your first appointment to our office, we will take the time to get to know you and understand your sleep habits and history. Using the latest technology available, we will then complete a thorough assessment of your airway, measuring the size and stability, to determine your likely need for a home sleep study (which is how sleep apnea is diagnosed).

Once we have reviewed your sleep study with you and a diagnosis has been made, we will discuss your treatment options. We feel that it’s very important that you understand your sleep patterns and the risks of untreated sleep apnea, so patient education is very important to us (and to our patients!). We always welcome your questions and invite your bed partner to join you at any appointment, because we know that this likely affects them as well.
